Striving to be “the hands and feet of Christ” in whatever way I am able,  and on behalf of the Saint Francis of Assisi Research Library, I am blessed to be able to pray for, work with, volunteer, and financially support a few select ministries and organizations who have dedicated themselves to helping “the least of these” spoken of in Matthew 25:35-40 – those most affected in our communities by the social injustices of our modern world. Redeemed Ministries is one such mission of mercy. ~ Brother Allen, OSF

“Since 2010, we have led the effort to provide safe and sustainable long-term residential trauma-informed care for those women who were exploited in sex trafficking.” ~ Bobbie Mark, Executive Director

Now celebrating their 10th anniversary, Redeemed Ministries cares for survivors of domestic sex trafficking in Houston and from around the nation by delivering quality, holistic, trauma-informed survivor care  to those exploited by human trafficking through commercial sexual exploitation.

Redeemed owns and operates an 8-bed restoration house in the Houston area for women rescued from their slavery. The house is a place of healing and hope for the journey ahead. They have designed a program to provide holistic healing addressing the emotional, physical, relational and spiritual needs, always taking into consideration the uniqueness of each individual.

“For His sake, I am but one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I ought to do. What I ought to do, by the grace of God, I will do. Lord, what will you have me do?” ~ Edward Everett Hale
